Minneapolis, MN, July 23, 2003 – Data Panel Corporation, a leading manufacturer of innovative electronic control systems for Specialty Vehicle Markets announced that it has successfully completed ISO 9001:2000 registration.
Data Panel achieved certification on July 21, 2003, following an independent audit of it processes and production methods, conducted by SGS International Certification Services.
“We recognize that ISO certification will not only give us a competitive edge over other manufacturers, but it was also a valuable exercise that allowed us to standardize procedures, lower our costs and improve customer relationships,” said Fred Sauer, Data Panel’s Vice President of Engineering.
“Certification also addresses a trend in our industries for vehicle manufacturers to work exclusively with suppliers who are ISO registered,” added Jon Haulton, President of Data Panel. “We’re very pleased to continue these current customer relationship, as well as build new ones.”
